Bali Independence Monument (Lapangan Puputan Badung)
Puputan is an accentuation of the Balinese word puput, which means “death, attrition,” and so on. It refers to Bali's war of independence against the Dutch. Built in honor of General Ngurah Rai, the model for the 50,000 Rupiah note, and the victims of the war, it has eight columns and 17 steps, symbolizing the August 17 Independence Day. The top floor is an observation deck, offering views of the city of Denpasar and Puputan Square.
Garuda Wisnu Kencana Cultural Park
Garuda Wisnu Kencana Cultural Park is Bali's largest statue theme park, showcasing Indonesia's rich cultural heritage. You'll find giant statues of Garuda, the Indonesian imaginary bird, and the Hindu god Vishnu, among others. The statue stands at 120 meters, making it one of the largest and tallest statues in the world.

Padang Padang Beach
We visit Padang Padang Beach, made famous by the movie Eat, Pray, Love, which was filmed in Bali. One of the favorite spots for surfers, you'll pass through a small inlet that's not really a beach at all, through lush trees and down a rocky staircase that leads to a silent bay, and you'll feel like you've been teleported to this stunning beach. Blue waters, white sand, contrasting umbrellas, and colorful surfboards make for an exotic scene.
Single Fin Beach Club
The Singlefin Beach Club is known for its unobstructed views of the ocean in southern Bali, so why not grab a cold beer or mojito while you watch the surfers do their thing?
Uluwatu Temple
Ulu' means head, 'Watu' means stone, and the temple is made of black volcanic stone, meaning the spirit of the sea. It stands 75 meters above the sea on a cliff, and is considered the largest and most important sacred site in the Pecatu area of southern Bali. The view of the waves crashing against the sheer cliffs is spectacular. Take in the serenity of the temple on the cliffs above the sea and feel the sacredness of this place, built in harmony with nature in the hope of the gods.
