09:30 St. Mary's Cathedral (Gereja Katedral Jakarta)

St. Mary's Cathedral and Istiqlal Grand Mosque. You'll visit two religious sites that were built face to face to promote religious harmony. St. Mary's Cathedral in Jakarta is a large Catholic cathedral across the street from the Istikrall Islamic Grand Mosque. Once inside, you'll get the feeling that this is one of the quietest places in Jakarta.
- Please be reverent and quiet when visiting religious areas.


"Istiqlal" means "independence" in Arabic, and construction began during the tenure of Indonesia's first president, Sukarno, and was completed 17 years later during the tenure of the country's second president, Suharto. It is the largest mosque in Southeast Asia, including Indonesia, and is a great place to explore together, with guided English-language tours of Istiqlal running every 30 minutes from 10am to 4:30pm.

- Men are required to wear long pants, while women are required to wear mosque robes (cape-like garments), which can be rented on site.


One of Indonesia's most iconic monuments, construction began in honor of Indonesia's Independence Day, August 17, 1945, and was completed in 1975. MONAS stands for MOnumen NASional, which means national monument. The square surrounding the monument is called Independence Square (Merdeka Square).
After visiting the plaza on the ground floor of Monas Tower, we will have time to shop for souvenirs at the large souvenir stalls near the parking lot. Please note that depending on local conditions (national events), access to the interior may be closed or restricted. Entrance to Independence Square is free, but there is a charge to go inside Monas Monument (Top: Rp 10,000 for adults/ Bottom: Rp 5,000)

We visit an Indonesian version of Padang restaurant that has been visited and savored by celebrity chefs such as Paik Jong-won, Lee Won-il, and David Kwon. A plate full of flavorful dishes unique to the Padang region. The dishes are placed on the table one after the other, and diners choose their favorites and enjoy. 14:00 Tour the Old City area

Explore Patahila Square in the Old City area, the center of Batavia, Jakarta's old name. Batavia, the name of old Jakarta given to it by the East India Company, was the most central area of the city, now called the Old City. Take some great photos of the plaza, the old buildings that still stand, and the famous old-fashioned cafe Batavia for a delicious cup of tea.
15:30 Shopping at Baywalk Mall (Local Supermarket)

Visit Baywalk Mall, one of the largest malls in Jakarta's northern suburb of Horniit, and shop for a variety of Indonesian specialties to take back home with your guide's recommendations.
16:30 Javanese Foot Massage
It's time for a massage at an authorized spa to soothe your tired and sweaty body. A Javanese or Balinese full body massage is available at an additional cost.
18:30 Dinner (optional)
Choose your favorite dinner. After dinner, depart for the airport in time for your flight.
