Bandung, where have you been? With its alpine location and cool climate, Bandung is a charming city and vacation destination for locals and expats from neighboring cities like Jakarta. Our Bandung city tour combines the volcanoes and modern culture you'd expect from Indonesia.
On Day 1, you'll enjoy a light trek and sulfuric hot springs at Bandung's still active volcano, Mount Tangkuban Perahu. After you've had your fill of nature's awe, you'll spend a relaxing night at Horizon Green Forest.
On Day 2, you'll explore the highlights of Bandung. After exploring the city by car on the best route for you, the real fun begins. We'll sample Indonesian tea and local food, and attend a performance that will give us a glimpse into the traditional culture of the Sundanese people. We'll also have free time until the evening to explore the streets of Braga, which offers a mix of modern culture that's hard to find in Jakarta.

Tangkuban Perahu is one of Indonesia's active volcanoes, rising 2084 meters above sea level. Take a drive to the summit to see the vast ash-colored crater and signs of active lava.
11:00 Domas Crater Sulfuric Hot Springs at Domas Crater
After about an hour of easy volcano trekking, you'll arrive at Domas Crater. Here you'll enjoy a footbath in the emerald sulfur springs and a freshly boiled egg.
13:00 [Lunch] Kampung Daun Outdoor garden with Kampung daun sign
Enjoy your favorite Indonesian food in a forest bungalow and outdoor garden. Vegetarian options are also available.
15:00 Sari Atere hot Spring
Located at the foot of Mount Tangkuban Perahu, Sari Atere offers sulfurous hot springs and tranquil scenery. Pamper your skin and revitalize your tired body.

We'll stop by a local Bandung eatery for lunch, especially the fried tofu (Tahu Cabe Garam), a local favorite in Bandung. teabumi is a great place to not only eat, but also to try their high quality, branded handmade tea.
15:00 Watch a performance at Saung Angklung Udjo Audience members watching a performance at Saung Angklung Udjo Theater
Watch a performance of Saung Angklung Udjo, a UNESCO Indonesian cultural heritage site. It's a spectacular performance of traditional Sundanese culture, where the harmonies created by bamboo instruments stimulate the senses. The performance is audience participation, and you'll have the chance to try your hand at playing a bamboo instrument.

Bandung's Braga Street is a hub of contemporary culture. This touristy street offers a wide variety of attractions, including Indonesian youth and artistic culture.

- Bandung is at a relatively high altitude in Indonesia. Please dress lightly, but we recommend bringing extra long sleeves.
- This tour includes trekking. Please dress and wear shoes that are comfortable for walking.
- It is hot with an average temperature of 25-28℃, so please pack short sleeves, sunscreen, hat, and mosquito repellent.
- Barring typhoon-strength weather, the tour will proceed as normal. As a tropical country, rain is common in Indonesia during the rainy season (October through March).
- It is one of the most congested countries in the world, so please be punctual and if the roads are heavily blocked due to other circumstances, we may be forced to change the order of the tour or, in the worst case scenario, cancel some of the tours.
- Please refrain from wearing jewelry as it may tarnish when using the hot springs, and those who have a medical condition that prevents them from using the sulfuric hot springs are not eligible for the tour.
- The vehicle will be an Avanza-class minivan (6-seater) based on 3 people. From 4 to 8 people will be assigned a van hiace and car seats are not provided.
- One large suitcase per person is allowed. If you have a lot of luggage, you will need to upgrade the size of the vehicle, there is an additional cost, please inquire.
- Please take care of your valuables during the tour as we are not responsible for any theft or loss incidents that occur during the tour. We also recommend that you purchase travel insurance.
- Cancellation requested ~7 days before the tour date: Refund after deducting a booking fee of USD3.65 (per person)
- Cancellation requested between 6 and 4 days before travel date: refund less 50% of the amount paid
- 3 days before to day of travel or NoShow: No cancellation/change/refund
- All vehicles have been sanitized before traveling.
